Behalve dat een schapenvacht in het interieur stijlvol en gezellig staat, is een schapenvacht ook de ideale oplossing voor alle oncomfortabele maar mooie stoelen. Want laten we eerlijk zijn, heel veel mooie design stoelen zitten niet altijd even lekker.

Ik hou ontzettend van deze industriële Scandinavische stijl. De stoel heeft een fijne zitvorm, maar er komt geen kussen aan te pas. Ik besloot op zoek te gaan naar een mooie vacht. Nu heeft IKEA ook schapenvachten, maar deze zijn standaard wit, en ogen toch wat minder luxueus.

Na wat google speurwerk kwam ik op de aantrekkelijke website van Sheepy. Een webwinkel compleet gespecialiseerd in schapenvachten. Eigenares Natasja begon haar webwinkel sheepy 2 jaar geleden. Ze kwam erachter dat vachten rest producten zijn van de vleesindustrie. En hoe mooi is het om deze vachten te hergebruiken?Ze haalt haar vachten binnen Europa, en selecteert ze stuk voor stuk op kwaliteit. En dat zie je, want de vachten zijn fris van kleur, schoon, en super zacht!

En het grappige is dat ze een stadsgenote bleek te zijn van mij! En niet alleen dat, maar we bleken ook nog in dezelfde buurt te wonen. De wereld is soms ineens toch wel klein!
Ideaal voor mij, want ik wist nog niet precies welke vacht ik nou het mooiste vond bij mijn nieuwe stoel. Ik nam er een paar mee en probeerde het uit!
Naast grote vachten, heeft Sheepy ook kleine vachtjes. Ideaal om op een stoel te leggen. Grijs gemêleerd
Uiteindelijk viel mijn keuze op een grijs gemêleerde vacht. Onze vloer heeft een grijstint, en ik vind het dan mooi om deze tint door te zetten in de accessoires. Dit om een beetje eenheid te behouden.
Ook op een bank geeft zo’n vacht meteen zoveel sfeer! Deze vacht is nog helemaal origineel zoals de vacht oorspronkelijk ook was.
En ook op mijn oude schommelstoel staat een vacht perfect! Dit is trouwens een effen grijze vacht. Deze vacht heeft een verfbad gehad.
Op deze foto zie je nog een kortharige versie op de bank liggen. Het mooie van de langere haren versie is dat de vacht zo mooi nonsjelant om de stoel heen valt. Het wordt echt een geheel met de stoel. Ik vond deze vacht met stip de mooiste voor in mijn huis!
