Zoals jullie inmiddels wel weten ben ik momenteel dol op interieur stylen met natuurlijke materialen. De serene sfeer die dit meebrengt geeft mij thuis een heel fijn relaxt gevoel.
Toen ik afgelopen voorjaar op de Wonen en Co beurs liep in Groningen, zag ik een hele mooie stand vol met manden en kleden van jute. De stand viel mij op doordat alles consequent in 1 stijl was doorgetrokken. Overzichtelijk en stijlvast daar word ik altijd erg blij van als interieur shopper!
In de stand stond een vrolijke man en we raakte meteen aan de praat. Het was René de eigenaar van de shop. Ik vertelde over mijn liefde voor natuurlijke materialen, en we besloten een keer af te spreken. Het leek mij namelijk erg leuk om te gaan stylen met deze spullen.

Bloempotten zijn tegenwoordig niet alleen meer van aardewerk. We zien steeds vaker manden om planten zitten. Soms van rotan, seaweed, maar ook jute. Juist deze natuurlijke materialen passen perfect bij planten. Ze gaan zo mooi op in elkaar.

Een voordeel van Jute vind ik de stevigheid. Ik heb bij deze plant de rand omgevouwen waardoor de mand nog mooier en steviger staat. Iets wat je met zeegras manden niet hebt. En dit hoekje kon qua kleur ook wel warmte gebruiken.

Als laatste koos ik een grote zwarte mand. Ik vind grote opberg manden ideaal voor naast de bank. Wij hebben meerdere dekens bij de bank liggen, en deze bewaar ik in een mand.
