I sometimes get a little ahead of things when it suits me. And in this case it is spring! I can't wait for it to come!

And what is so wonderful to do, is making your house a little spring-proof. The winter rug makes way for a spring rug!

I chose an oval shape to break up the angular sofa a bit. The size 152cmx245cm is perfectly in proportion to the sofa. The rug is about the same width as the sofa.

Oval rugs are all the rage And that's what I love about this bag! Organic shapes give your interior a playful touch.

TIP: If you choose a rectangular rug, an oversized size is possible (even in a small space) very nice and spacious.
But with an oval rug, a larger size rug than the sofa seems restless. The oval rug then stands out much more because the shapes are so different. And if a rug protrudes beyond the sofa, it looks messy.

So always measure your couch to find the right oval rug! It is best if the rug is about the same length as the sofa, or falls just within the edges of the sofa.
