Two houses, two backpacks why we once again opted for a backpack with a name
A backpack with name is not only great fun for children, but also super practical. Especially when your child goes to school. In this blog I share our experience with the sustainable backpack from with a specialization for personalized gifts and our new favorite backpack from Trixie .
Our experience with the Fresk backpack
A few years ago I bought Moss a backpack from with a specialization for personalized gifts with his name embroidered on it. And honest? This Fresk backpack surprised me so positively. The quality of the Fresk backpack is really fantastic, both the backpack and the embroidered name still look fantastic after years of intensive use. And that says a lot, especially with a child who uses it every day. What I like so much about the Fresk backpack:
- It is made from recycled PET bottles (a sustainable choice)
- The quality is so good that it will last for years
- The prints are timeless and remain beautiful
- The pocket on the inside so that a drinking bottle remains upright.
Then Moss 4 turned old and went to primary school for the first time, I saw no reason at all to buy a new school backpack.
Looking for a school backpack with name for toddlers
But hey… life changes. Now that Moss has been going to school for a few months and we have two houses due to the divorce, we noticed that one backpack is not that useful. So we decided we needed a second backpack. One for daddy and one for mommy.
Because I like the first backpack so much, the choice was quickly made: we went for a backpack again HippeRugzakken.nl (the new webshop of By Bineke). My eye immediately fell on the cute goose backpack Kidzroom (Moss has been fascinated by goslings since his first steps and so have I). Yet despite his fascination with goslings, Moss thought differently. The Kidzroom backpack was a bit too pink for his taste, “more for girls”. So I let him choose for himself.
Why we chose a Trixie backpack
His eye soon fell on the animal backpacks Trixie . These animal-shaped backpacks are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers: the cute design, the chest strap so that the backpack stays securely on the back, the padded shoulder straps for extra comfort and the elastic on the inside so that the drinking cup stays upright.
Moss chose Mr. Bear – a brown backpack in the shape of a bear. Which I really like, is that the Trixie backpack is also a sustainable choice. This backpack is made from recycled cotton (for the outside) and recycled polyester (for the lining).
Personalized backpack
Which I think is a real plus, is the editor at HippeRugzaken.nl. This allowed us to personalize the backpack ourselves.
We made a choice from the different fonts and different colors of thread. His name was then embroidered on the backpack by Bineke. It makes the bag just that little bit extra special (and also convenient: no mix-ups at school)
Two backpacks, two nice places
Moss is very happy with his new Trixie backpack. And me too. I think we have succeeded very well again HippeRugzakken.nl for a practical one, sustainable and personalized backpack for my toddler. Now he has his trusted Fresk backpack with name with his father and his new Trixie backpack with name with me. Two houses, but both have their own, nice place with its own stuff.
