For about three years now I have been completely overcome by the podcast virus. I always thought it wouldn't be for me, that endless listening to stories. Where would I find the time??
Until I discovered that listening to a podcast for me it is the way to give my brain a rest. My thoughts go on pause, and at that moment there is only room for the sound from my headphones.
I experience this as ultimate relaxation!
Of course, it's not the case that I can't do anything for hours except relax. ON THE CONTRARY! Listening actually frees up space in my head to mindlessly complete many boring routine tasks. Housekeeping has never been so much fun!
