Japandi is a fusion of two interior styles. You can already tell by the name, the combination : Japan with Scandinavia.

In this article I'm going to show you how you can apply this style in your own home using a few tips!

Quiet base

Japandi is characterized by the rustige basis. Often these are soft and light earth tones. It is therefore smart to give the walls in your room these soft colors.

For example, think of sand color on the wall. Such as, for example¨Sandy beach¨ what I myself have on the walls at home.

This combined with a neutral light-colored tidy floor. you read it right cleaned up! The Japandi style also stands for cleanliness. So no more stuff lying around on the floor!

It is also nice to bring window decoration in this quiet base. For example, choose a cream white or beige window decoration.

The beautiful thing about this roller blind is except the color, that it is made of linen. This gives a natural effect. So what exactly is a characteristic of the Japandi style.

Wood

The use of,nl hout is also typical Japandi. And what you mainly see now is the use of narrow slats on the wall. The slats are usually narrow and often vertical. A real eye-catcher in your interior!

Accessories

Do you have the basics completely calm? Then you can start with the Japandi accessories. These are also minimalistic; Less is more. Little color, natuurlijke materialen, and organic shapes.

Where you see a lot of these kinds of accessories is, for example, in the webshop of MADE.com
