We zijn al een tijdje gewend geraakt aan rotan stoelen. Earlier in the year 60/70 waren deze erg populair en sinds een paar jaar zijn ze opnieuw niet aan te slepen.
Zelfs in de kringloopwinkel betaal je voor dit soort exemplaren al snel een euro of 35!
Wat mij betreft een beetje te gek, maar dat is wat trends soms veroorzaken.
Nieuw rotan
Gelukkig spelen interieur winkels in op de nieuwste trends waardoor je inmiddels ook al een nieuwe rotan stoel kunt kopen voor een kleinere prijs en niet van oud te onderscheiden.

Rotan kast
Om in deze rotan trend door te gaan leek het mij leuk om een keer een kast op de kop te tikken. De kasten zien we nog niet echt terug in de winkels, maar ze staan juist zo leuk in de huidige BOHO stijl trend.
Afgelopen week had ik geluk! Ik vond in de kringloopwinkel een enorme rotan kast! ( Kringloop plus Groningen ) voor een leuke prijs.

De kast was in mooie staat, en lekker groot. Ik moest er wel even voor terugkomen met een busje, maar dat had ik er voor over!
Planten verzameling
Een geschikte kast om te gebruiken voor een planten verzameling. Het natuurlijke rotan gecombineerd met het fris groen van de planten maakt het plaatje helemaal af.
De mooie grote varen kocht ik deze week bij de Albert Heijn voor maar €5 ! Ik vond deze retro plant goed passen bij deze kast.
De bloempotten (uit de kringloopwinkel) heb ik in 1 kleur gestyled en dat was wit. Verschillende kleuren potten geven namelijk al snel een rommelig geheel.
En doordat de kast doorschijnend is oogt het ook niet zo zwaar in het interieur lekker luchtig.

Nieuw kopen is makkelijk, maar een vintage vondst blijft toch het allerleukste!
