Set festive table for New Year

We are all celebrating Christmas at home this year. And even though we can't turn out big, the cosiness does not have to be less. Dining with your family? A neighbor? A single friend? Fortunately, there are still possibilities to make something out of it! And that of course includes a festively laid table! This year it's extra nice to go all out with it!

I have been going to XENOS for tableware for years. Borden, kopjes, teapots, I have been buying it for years 90 in this store. For my festive dinner table I decided to order online from Xenos. Nice and easy, and completely appropriate at this time because I didn't have to leave the house.

When I want to make a styling picture, I always choose the colors very carefully. Because if you take into account coordinated colors, you get the most beautiful picture. Niet te druk, and an appropriate whole, that is important to me.

The color palette I chose was: Black-Gold-Crystal. The great thing about choosing solid colors is that you keep shopping very clear. This way you can make your choice more quickly from the enormous range on offer.

The cloth is made of thin plastic. Ideal for cleaning!

I tried to remove the wrinkles, but this can be difficult because the cloth is made of plastic. But once the table is full you can't see it anymore, and the wrinkles will come out automatically.

With black plates the styling can quickly become a bit flat. That's why I opted for a striking eye-catcher, and those are cake plates with cranes. Helemaal in de trend van nu!

TIP: A plate with a beautiful motif on a plain plate immediately gives a laid table a festive look!

Het gold cutlery I've had it for a few years now. But this is also available online from XENOS.

I ordered their own napkin ring for each child at the table. Something fun that can be brought out again during festive moments. And a nice memory for later!

The gold-colored vase with an oriental touch gives the table ¨Glam¨. I have placed red berries on it for the winter feeling.. And in spring and summer you can put a beautiful field bouquet in it, and then you can use this table again for a festive occasion!

The plate with the birds gives you the feeling as if there is a work of art on your plate.

Instead of long candles in the middle of the table, I opted for each plate to have its own tealight. This gold-colored tealight only costs €1.29 each. This way you can set up your own light for each guest in a very budget-friendly manner. And my children also really enjoy having their own light!

The champagne glasses are also available in transparent light gold. Because there is already a lot of gold on the table, I opted for the gray variant. Which of course adds a nice color to the plates
