I always love the Easter period. It has been light for a bit longer, spring is approaching, and everywhere you see the tastiest chocolates popping up in the supermarket!

When you think of Easter, you also think of colorful Easter eggs.
Very nice of course, especially if you have small children in the house it cannot be colored enough!

But this year I wanted to do it differently. For the last few months I have been themeing the living room in earth tones, and I just didn't feel like those intense lollipop colors. I went to see if I could also implement it in the same style. Easter in natural style!

Easter hopping at XENOS

As a Xenos ambassador, I am now very much at home in the Xenos webshop. And recently I saw very nice birds and hares there.
This inspired me to do things differently.

What I often do with a styling plan is to make a small collage of a number of articles from a webshop. A kind of mini mood board. This way you immediately see how everything fits together. By the way, I make these kinds of mood boards in the "PS EXPRESS" app

Just screenshot the pictures and save, and then upload in a collage. So beep!

I added the branch for the atmosphere. The golden eggs later turned out to be sold out. But this was exactly the tougher color palette that I wanted to create. Not that sweet, but just nice of course, and in today's trend.

Easter branch Hazel

In previous years I always bought my branches at the supermarket. The disadvantage of the supermarket branches is that they are not from the hazel tree. They are a kind of weeping willow. These branches are steeper and thinner, and often have small green leaves. I wanted a real twisting branch again this year!

In villages you can often score these types of branches with private individuals for a few euros, but here in town I'm not that lucky.
I decided to get a branch from a local florist in my city of Groningen. (€12,50) Not cheap, but you do get a huge beautiful branch for it!

And with a little luck the branch will still take root, and you can still plant it!

The branch I have with 3 types of decoration styled in natural colors.

I chose rabbits of wood, birds with real feathers, and yellow chicks.

I saw that the birds were already sold out at the Xenos, but maybe they will come back.

I also found matching cups, pillows and a cupboard!

A TIP: from barony chocolate eggs can also be found at XENOS are really the best!

Pottery cups "Facet" espresso format.

Het webbing box, can also be used as a bedside table. I think it's a very nice cupboard to put next to the sofa. You can store the remote control in the drawer! USEFUL

To add a little color and pizzazz to the sofa, I opted for a few cushions including this Terra-colored one. A color that I actually had absolutely nothing of at home.
The color tone is in the carpet, so the addition of this color was a perfect match. It also slightly breaks the beige / sand colored whole of the sofa and the wall.

The result is a beautiful large branch combined with sturdy and strong colors. And the natural Easter decoration!

Do you already have the Easter branch??
