Roof terrace makeover with Karwei

We are lucky to have a roof terrace in addition to a city garden. A lovely sunny spot on top of the roof.

There is a sun lounger, and a chair. But it was always really an individual chill spot. I thought it would be nice if it would also be a place where we could really sit with several people.

Corner sofa

I saw at the KARWEI corner sofa: Louise a 5 person bench. Groot, soft cushions and with a wooden frame combined with green woven plastic. A good weatherproof combination. The latter is certainly an advantage when you place furniture on an open roof terrace without a roof.

What I also really like about the Louise sofa is the retro touch. The frame is very similar to Danish design from the 1970s 60-70. Something that really appeals to me as a vintage lover!

To get the atmosphere that was in my head clear, I made a mood board. I always do this via a photo app on my phone. Screenshotten, and place everything in the collage.

If you are well prepared in this way, you have no chance of a bad purchase!

I chose a sofa with cozy decorative cushions and black accents. The black accents fit well with the fence.

The result is a wonderful place with the comfort of the inside, but still really an outdoor look!

The corner sofa fits perfectly in the corner of the terrace. We raised the fence a bit with a willow branch fence. These are available per roll at the Hornbach.

of XL (within) floor cushions are wonderful to drag along for the children.

I also chose a lot decorative cushions in the bank to add a little color. These are not outdoor cushions, but I always put all indoor and outdoor cushions of the lounge sofa in a waterproof cover every evening storage box.

De Cream umbrella has cozy frills, I think this is a nice playful contrast with the modern sofa.

As a side table I have a stool from the brand WOOOD chosen. This is not an outdoor product, so this table goes under a roof in the evening.
