Heat metamorphosis with Rattan look

Recently we were able to expand our living room with an extra space.

Great extra seats if you have a large family! We bought a beautiful white leather corner sofa on Marktplaats, a cozy bird wallpaper, and I further supplemented the interior with the black furniture and accessories we already had.

Only something kept gnawing… Such a white sofa in combination with white walls and black combined, the atmosphere of the room remained a bit chilly.

Styling with black is very beautiful, but if a room contains few warm elements, can it get a bit cold in terms of atmosphere.

This room could use a little warmth, and I decided to create this with rattan.

Rattan is always a cozy (timeless) addition to the house and garden. It has a warm color, looks airy, and it always gives me a summer feeling. Exactly what this room could use!

XENOS

As a Xenos ambassador I know that Xenos is one of the places where you can always find rattan and bamboo. I looked online, and I was immediately drawn to a beautiful rattan look armchair!

EGG CHAIR NATUREL

This rattan look chair is made of plastic, and therefore slightly stronger than natural rattan. You can also put this chair outside because it is waterproof. I myself only realized later that the chair was not made of rattan an, you don't see this at all!

TIP: extra fun for children to nest in! As an adult you can also sit in it, but I'll leave it to the kids to crawl in.

I chose a matching bamboo coffee table.

RATTAN COFFEE TABLE/SIDE TABLE – ⌀60X36 CM

This table is made of real rattan. I think the advantage of rattan in this case is that it is airy to see. This allows you to benefit from a large table, without it getting in the way.

And to top it off I ordered a large wicker rug.

FLOOR CLOTHING NATURAL – Ø150 CM

You immediately notice that this rug is pure nature. The rug is made of real reed, you can even smell this! I think it's a plus, it gives you the feeling that you are bringing nature inside a bit.
